Patricia Ackor, Artist The Rocky Heights of Jersey  Somehow I had never thought of New Jersey having "rocky heights" until I saw Clifton Johnson's caption for this image, but I suppose that's where The Palisades get their name. As with "Polopoll's Island," I took the liberty of bringing the tide in, covering the mud flats of Mr. Johnson's image with sparkling water and reflections of old pilings.
