Patricia Ackor, Artist  In Memory of a Canyon This is a hand-woven combination of traditional tapestry (the flat areas) and hand-knotted deep pile. Done on a tapestry frame, it is my adaptation of a photograph I took in one of the slot canyons of Glen Canyon before it was drowned by Lake Powell. I love texture in my work; I want people to feel compelled to touch! And I always say, "Please do." Size: 36"W x 48"H  x 1.5"D $5,000 tapestry-wrapped edges
