Patricia Ackor, Artist Guardian of the Canyon  During the late 1990s I had the opportunity to travel the length of Lake Powell when the water level was within 11' of being as high as it had ever been. Because of that, I had views of rock walls, canyons, arches and other wonders that few people have experienced. These days, with the water level approximately 100' lower, this view would be entirely different. I feel honored to have seen the area when I did, and have attempted to capture the majestic vistas as faithfully as possible.
